A Lifelong Love for Pure, Immersive Music
Alex Lamar Evans lives in Portland, Oregon, as an up-and-coming sound engineer and sonics art producer. He specializes in studio microphone placement and acoustics, live sets, and sound production. Alex has experience in over 30 productions and 200-plus hours working in music studios. He has been Ableton-certified since 2020, and he is knowledgeable and works with ProTools, Max8, and Logic Pro. As a kid, I gravitated toward records that made me feel like I was in the room with the artists.
Since officially beginning my career in 2018, I have strived to produce music with that true, immersive sound. You need to be on top of your game when you are recording on multiple microphones simultaneously, making sure that rhythms and harmonies fall in just the right place. Running a structured studio session is hard work, but I love every minute.
